Archival prints of “Wished on the Moon: Lady Day” are now available for purchase.

Many of you made inquiries about the original framed multimedia piece, which recently sold….well….here you go! The stars in this work are real constellations, based on Billie Holiday’s own birth chart: sun sign Aries, moon in Capricorn, rising sign Aquarius. For me, it’s all about resonance; how the unseen influences all that we perceive.

Future Beauty

Beauty is not defined by one look.

This is so mind-numbingly evident that it feels moronic to even type it. Anyone using more than two brain cells understands beauty exists in multiplicity; it’s an intangible, magical something that transcends skin color, hair color, eye color, race or any narrow concept of  perfection (#freeyourmind). We embrace  chaos theory, so how could we be narrow-minded about something like beauty? Let’s not. The future is now, so let’s go forward. Let’s shout out the exquisite Canadian  Winnie Harlow for giving us a stunning and unexpected expression of  killer looks. Instead of bleaching (!!) her two-tone skin and/or covering up in shame, this TO(ronto) bad-ass ROCKS the vitiligo that used to be a source of painful ridicule and taunts. How? Winnie Harlow sees herself for what she really is: lovely. The outcome? She is a professional model, showcasing her unique beauty for a living. Ironic?  Not really. It’s just another example of the power each of us has to create our reality. A little #courage goes a long way!
